Constructing and Performing the Self
A unique course offered by Olin College and Babson College examined the most fundamental of questions: Who am I?
The new, interdisciplinary course integrated the tools and methods of psychological science with the interpretative and aesthetic perspectives from the tradition of solo performance to examine identity. Students read psychological studies, watched master solo performances and played the roles of scholar, writer, critic and actor. The course culminated in a final performance, written and performed by students, at the Sorensen Center for the Arts at Babson College.
