Remaking Education
On November 2, 2018, Olin College together with Emerson College hosted Remaking Education. A diverse group of educators, business leaders, students, and other influencers gathered at the Paramount Center in Boston, Massachusetts, for an interactive day of experimentation, design, and reflection on what types of educational experiences facilitate truly transformative learning.
Participants heard from President Rick Miller, President Lee Pelton and a range of storytellers including: Olin student Antonio Perez, former head of Trader Joe's Doug Rauch, Director for STEM diversity at Tufts University Ellise LaMotte and others.
Throughout the day, the 300 plus participants engaged in three different hands-on experiences: Deepen, Dissent and Design.
